Join AIGA DC and sustainable-design advocate Dan Kohan as we discuss how to apply principles of sustainable environmental, social, economic, and cultural development to our work.
In this members-only Salon, we will review AIGA’s newly-unveiled Living Principles framework to bring clarity to integrated sustainability. Our discussion will focus on what this means for working designers, the next steps in developing the framework, and how we can put these principles into action in our own practices.
Created by the AIGA Center for Sustainable Design (CFSD), the Living Principles for Design were born out of the design profession’s need for an aspirational and actionable framework that provides designers and their clients with a common understanding of the core facets of sustainability and enables them to take action. Its ongoing development is dependent on the contributions of the design community at large.
Bring your own experiences to share with the group and help shape the AIGA Center for Sustainable Design agenda as we share ideas on sustainable design.
